[en] On rare occasions (for example, if the latest driver version has a bug), you may want to downgrade your newly installed driver on your servers and clients.
[en] The downgrade and upgrade procedures differ because Windows doesn't automatically change driver versions during downgrades. Before you install an older version, remove your currently installed driver.
[en] On the server

[en] Run Prninst with the downgraded version.

[en] Manually remove your currently installed 32-bit driver. In Print Management, go to Drivers, right-click the driver you want to downgrade, and click Remove Driver Package....

[en] Add 32-bit driver with the older version.
[en] On the client

[en] Go to Device Manager > Print queues and uninstall all printers using the driver you want to downgrade.

[en] In Print Management, go to Drivers, right-click the driver you want to downgrade, and click Remove Driver Package....

[en] In the client's file explorer go to your shared printer location on your server. Double-click the printer.
[en] The driver on your client is now installed with the older version.
