[en] Problem

[en] Installation of the Control Center database can fail in a step where the installer creates the database on the SQL server. As part of the Control Center database installation, two local users are created on the computer where the MS SQL server is installed, EPM_USER and EPM_DBADMIN. The default passwords for both users are strong, but sometimes the password strength still does not meet the policy settings of the company's domain. In some organizations, the rules about password strength and complexity are very strict.

[en] The Control Center installation can fail because the default usernames & passwords embedded in the installation do not match the policy settings of your company.

[en] Solution

[en] An add-on application (DB Tool) is available that allows you to change the default usernames and passwords in Control Center. You can adapt the Control Center installation to match the rules defined by the group policy.
