The field {fieldName} gets a value from the data source that contains a space character(s) in its name. While NiceLabel supports spaces in the names of data sources, you must avoid using them, when this data source is used in the Python scripts.

The Conversion Service converts all data-manipulation formulas from original label templates into Python functions in NiceLabel label templates. In Python, variables with names in their names are not allowed. That's the reason behind removing spaces from the variable names.
The Conversion Service has determined that the data source {oldDataSourceName} is part of a formula/function in NiceLabel and has removed spaces in its name to make it compatible with Python.
