DETAILS

The existing label uses a label object that has defined an incorrect/not supported Data Identifier. Data Identifiers are defined with the standard ANSI MH10.8.2 which is freely available from https://www.mhi.org. All Data Identifiers in this standard must start with a letter.

The Converter replaced the incorrect Data Identifier with the Data Identifier "B" (which is the first Data Identifier in the list) so the object could be created in the converted label.

RESOLUTION

  1. The converted label is not identical to the original one. You will have to modify the data structure for the Data Identifier.

  2. Data Identifiers in NiceLabel are defined using the function ANSI MH10.8.2 (ASC).

    1. Open the converted label for editing in NiceLabel Designer.

    2. In Data Source Explorer, in the Data tab, find the respective function and edit it. The function name will be probably ANSI MH10.8.2 (ASC).

    3. Click Add to create a new Data Identifier and bind it to the same data source as the currently-defined Data Identifier "B".

    4. Then delete the Data Identifier "B".
