Cannot open Access database stored on a network share

Problem

You try to use an Access database stored on a network share, but you get an error that the database is locked. Only one user can open the Access database at a time.

Solution

This is a Microsoft issue that is caused by the KB5002099 update from 14. December 2021.

To resolve the issue, install Microsoft KB4484211 update.
