Problem

You would like to design a label with a variable length. The label length changes in accordance with the size of the label objects. When you assign more data to the label objects, their size increases and occupies more space on the label. To fit such objects on the label, the label height must change.

The requirement for variable label sizing is quite often in the textile industry, where labels print to endless label material. There are no gaps between the labels. The printer cutter cuts the material after the label prints.

Solution

NiceLabel supports variable length printing with all NiceLabel drivers, that have the possibility to use custom media size. Printing application defines the size at print time.

Enable the object's relative positioning on your label design. Your objects will not always be placed in the same spot on your label. Object placements will change accordingly to the placement of parent objects.
