Printed graphics on your labels are in bad quality

Problem

You can see a high-quality picture on your label design and in print preview, but the picture prints with low quality.

Solution

Solution for black and white graphic files:

  • If you have selected Use printer properties saved in: Label:

  1. Open Label Properties.

  2. Click Printer properties button.

  3. Go to Graphic Options tab.

  4. Set the Dithering level. In most cases, Clipart setting gives the best results.

  • If you have selected Use printer properties saved in: Printer Driver:

  1. In Windows go to Printers & Scanners.

  2. Select your printer and click Manage.

  3. On the left side of your screen click Printing Preferences.

  4. Go to Graphic Options tab.

  5. Set the Dithering level. In most cases, the Clipart setting gives the best results.

Solution for color graphic files:

  1. Convert your picture into black and white with some third party graphic software.

  2. Set the optimal Dithering level as described in Solution for black and white graphic files.
