Loftware does not consider the following differences to be acceptable. If you discover that any of these have occurred as a result of migrating from LPS to Loftware Cloud, contact Loftware.

The rotation of a field has changed

Fields are unexpectedly overlapping

A field is truncated or extends beyond the edge of the label

Text is unreadable

Inaccurate data is printed on labels

Typical Resolutions of Unacceptable Differences
If an unacceptable difference is found, then the issue must be resolved. Resolution of issues may include, but is not limited to, the following:

Manual changes to label templates, data sources, or other objects in the Loftware Cloud user interface

Loftware Cloud product changes in compliance with Loftware's Software Development Lifecycle

LPS Conversion Services changes in compliance with Loftware's Software Development Lifecycle, in which case re-migration of LPS artifacts will be required.
What to Provide When Requesting Technical Support: If requesting technical support to resolve an unacceptable difference, please include as many of the following items as possible for more rapid identification of the root cause of the issue.

Description of the problem including actual behavior vs. expected behavior

Detailed, step-by-step instructions for reproducing the issue

The .lwl file and supporting files for migrating to Loftware Cloud

The .nlbl files that were produced by the migration process
-
Job data used to reproduce the issue

Log files with a comment about the time that the issue occurred

Print output or screen shots clearly displaying the issue with comparison images from the expected LPS behavior
