Unsupported Printers

While Loftware Cloud supports many printer models from different manufacturers, it can happen that the particular printer model used by an LPS label templates is not supported (see list below). In many cases, the printer model used by LPS is compatible with some other model of the same manufacturer.

During the migration, the converted label will retain the original printer name. When you open the converted label in Loftware Cloud’s Designer for the first time after the conversion, you will have to choose the appropriate replacement printer driver.

The following printer models are not supported in Loftware Cloud.

Unsupported barcodes

The following barcode types are not supported. During the conversion process the following barcode types will be converted into Code128 barcode type and placed in the same location in the label template.

Printer settings – Label Options

The Label Options configured for the original LPS labels, such as print speed, darknes, label cut options, etc., are not migrated in the converted labels.
