When you print your labels, you face one or more of the following problems:
-
Your label objects are misaligned.
-
Label margins are off.
-
Your printer prints an extra empty label after each batch of labels.
To resolve the issue, calibrate your printer.
We recommend that you perform calibration every time when you change a roll of labels or ribbon.
Solution 1
Loftware printer drivers have an option to calibrate your printers.
-
On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners and select your printer.
-
Click the Manage button. Your printer settings window opens.
-
Click the Maintenance tab, then click Calibrate,
Your printer will perform automatic calibration.
Solution 2
You can manually calibrate your printer using your printer's control panel. We recommend manual calibration when:
-
You use a third-party printer driver that has no calibration option.
-
You use pre-printed media.
-
You change media types or batches or sizes.
-
Your printer doesn't correctly auto-calibrate.
Refer to your printer user guide for the detailed procedure. Each printer family uses a different procedure.
