[en] Problem

[en] You set NiceLabel Automation Service to Automatic start, and your Automation configuration includes files from a network or Control Center Documents storage location.

[en] When NiceLabel Automation Service starts, you get an error regarding Automation configuration or inaccessibility of files. The error occurs because the Automation service starts before the connection to the files is established.

[en] Solution

[en] Enable delayed start to NiceLabel Automation Service.

[en] Change the Startup type in NiceLabel Automation Service Properties to Automatic (Delayed Start).
[en] If the above option doesn't help because the default service delay is still too short:
1. [en] Open Registry Editor.
2. [en] Navigate to the key
  
  [en] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NiceLabelAutomationServiceVVVV , where VVVV stands for NiceLabel version, for example 10 or 2019.
3. [en] Add a new DWORD (32-bit) Value with the name AutoStartDelay.
4. [en] Modify the value and set the Value Data to 120 Decimal.
  
  [en] NiceLabel Automation Service will start with a 2-minute delay. You can try other values to start the optimal service.
